A Challenge to Material Physics

Saddle is an exercise in structural rigidity. Initially conceived as a rocking chair, the design process evolved into a deep engagement with physical principles (material stress), as we constantly adjusted and tested models to exploit PETG's high toughness despite its low hardness.
